The Tri-Lakes Community Alliance is devoted to supporting a thriving quality of life and culture in the North Warren community.  The Alliance is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization of volunteers in the towns of Chester and Horicon working together. Meetings are held every 2nd Friday of the month at 9am at The Panther Mountain Inn.

There are only two rules:

  1. Meetings last for only 1 hour
  2. Only 1 person speaks at a time

Minutes | May 10, 2024

*Tri-Lakes Community Alliance: Supporting North Warren Central School with Scholarship Fund for Student this year. 

*Winter Carnival: Cancelled this year. Discussion about changing timing for cancellation for next year, to be addressed next year during committee planning.

*St. Patrick’s Day Parade:  March 16th, 2024, Event was a huge success! Plans to continue next year. 

*The Carol Theatre: Opening Night July 6th. Tickets will be on sale at The Chestertown Farmer’s Market. 

*An Adirondack Woof Stock & Woodstock Revisited on the Mill Pond: Weekend of June 8-9! Cindy Meade leading Committee, Donation Request form to sponsor your business attached! Poster attached as well. Next committee meeting for Woof Stock is Wednesday May 15th at 5:15 PM at The Panther Mountain House.

*Chestertown’s 225th anniversary* July 13th, 2024. TLCA to lend Human Foosball for the event. American Legion to unveil new names at Town Hall. Followed by Vendors, Food Trucks and Fireworks.

*North Warren Chamber of Commerce:  VIP Dinner to Honor Randy and Patty Berg and The Hub to be held Thursday May 23rd at Jimbo’s 5:30-9PM. Tickets for Dinner are available through The North Warren Chamber of Commerce.

The sign in front of the Chamber is broken. Ideas to raise funds to purchase new sign, Fall Fundraiser event possible? Discussion for TLCA and Rotary and/or other organizations to team up and make it possible. 

*FLANNEL FESTIVAL and The Brant Lake Duck Race: on the Saturday of Columbus Day weekend (with a Sunday rain date) around the pond in Brant Lake. Drew will chair the event, Don Butler & Cindy Mead have volunteered to be on the committee and anyone else interested in helping out please let us know!!!

*The Grant Brant Lake Canoe Race: August 10th, 2024. Registration will open July 9th, 2024. 

*Chestertown Farmer’s Market: Start Date Wednesday June 12th. More Vendors and an exciting season planned!

*CPR Course: Jack Bartlett will be teaching a Community American Heart Association CPR Course on May 19th at the Chestertown Firehouse beginning at 9am. The cost of the course is $30.00 and pre-registration can be completed by emailing [email protected].

*An Adirondack Woof Stock & Woodstock Revisited on the Mill Pond: Weekend of June 8-9 so Save The Date!  Meeting for An Adirondack Woof Stock and Woodstock Revisited on the Mill Pond Wednesday, April 17th, 5:15 pm at the Panther Mountain Inn and Tavern.
