Pedal to Plate: May 19: Adirondack area bike ride, “Pedal to Plate,” a 55-mile culinary tour of the North Country circling three scenic lakes and traveling through picturesque Adirondack hamlets. Travels from The Hub in Brant Lake and circles Schroon Lake. $40 entry fee if preregistered; $50 if signed up the day of the event. Sign up is at http://Bikereg.com/F2F

An Adirondack Woof Stock: June 2-3. T-Shirt sponsorships are available for $125 and again, your support is appreciated! Last year the TLBA came out $339 in the black for this event so your support in T-Shirt sponsorships is greatly needed!!! And thank you to the Town of Chester for their $6,000 Occupancy Tax grant! $1,500 was also received from the Town of Horicon ($2,000 was requested as in past years) for Woof Stock on the Mill Pond being held that Saturday night (featuring the STONY CREEK BAND!!!) and this too is appreciated, as we moved the Saturday night festivities to Horicon to share in the weekend long festivities that puts “Heads in Beds” for the weekend. Woof Woof….
Warren County Tourism: JoAnne Connolly gave a presentation on how Warren County & Lake George expand their advertising to include surrounding towns. The new travel guide and www.visitlakegeorge.com include our local events and should be contacted to promote any activities we organize.

Car Hops: Starting in June:1st Friday of the month at The Hub, 3rd Friday of the month at The Panther Mt. Inn.
Banners for Town Poles: Orders are completed and if you request a banner at this time it’s not guaranteed it will be up by Memorial Day.
Horicon Banner Holder: Committee met with Horicon officials and marked out the area. Hopefully it will be up soon so we and everyone else can have their banners up to advertise their events this summer.
