Ø  Great to see everyone at the meeting and a huge thanks to the Panther Mt. Pub for allowing us to have our meetings there as in the past!!!!

Ø  Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony will be held in Chestertown on Monday,  May 31. Legion Riders, Veterans riding in vehicles, Fire Trucks from the community will line-up  at the Chestertown Fire House at 10:15 a.m.  with departure to Rt 9 at 10:45 a.m. Marchers and Floats (organizations, families, business sponsored vehicles) line-up at 10:15 a.m.  on Church Street, to  join (march/drive) ahead of fire trucks at approx. 10:50 a.m. Parade Route: From Bullhouse via Church street to Chestertown Municipal Center on Route 9. Ceremony at the Veterans Memorial  at 11:00 a.m. We are hoping to have a great turn-out as our community practices a Common-Sense Approach for marchers and viewers to Honor our Fallen Heroes. The last community parade was for St Patrick’s Day on March 14 2020 as the Pandemic was taking hold of the many changes we have experienced in our daily lives. This parade is a way of honoring our veterans, and celebrating the awakening of our community and country this summer.
