Horicon Day: August 26th 5PM. Sponsored by the Horicon Fire Department, enjoy an evening of good ole’ fashion fun around the Mill Pond in Brant Lake! Bob & Gert Newton (with over 109 years of service between the two of them!!) will be honored, paddle board demos in the pond (by The Crossroads), food served by the Fire department (free), vendors (still room for more) and some special events reminiscent of days of old! Chestertown Farmer’s Market: Over 1,100 people came through the gate last week. Committee members met with supervisor Craig Leggett to discuss ways to deal with the traffic/parking problem (but isn’t this a good problem to have!). No Parking signs will be posted on the driveways of the town hall & we ask everyone to obey the No Parking signs on Main Street, don’t park on the grass and use the crosswalks. Open every Wednesday from 10AM – 2PM!

Car Hops: Unfortunately the weather hasn’t been cooperating but the Car Hops are held every 1st Friday of the month at the Panther Mt. Inn and every 3rd Friday at The Hub. A fun night for car lovers and families so check it out!

*And a special performance to celebrate 5 years of theatre performances on Fri. Aug. 25th (to benefit the TLBA) with Al & Kathy Bain followed by the 1979 Band w/Danny Schultz (former guitarist with the Jerry Garcia Band!).
