Adirondack Shin-Dig: Saturday August 13th – 3rd Annual! This group has put together enough monies to rehab the 1881 Adirondack Church to become the Horicon Museum Annex!!! The Shin-Dig is a community based event with bands, food and vendors where they close the streets for dancing and socializing! During the day, stop by the 17th Annual Adirondack Yard Sale for some great deals! Yard Sale 9AM – 2PM. Shin-Dig 5PM – 8PM.

Chestertown Farmers Market: Every Wednesday 10AM – 2PM from now until mid-Sept. Over 1200 people visited the market last week – CFM committee has voted to give the Town of Chester $200 each year to assist with lawn maintenance.
Car Hop: July 15th at the Hub – Car Hops are held the 1st Friday of the month at the Panther Mt. Inn and the 3rd Friday of the month at The Hub beginning around 5 PM. Trophy sponsors are still needed – $40 to have your business donate the trophies for each event. We also need someone to do the 50/50 raffles so anyone willing to give an hour of their time would be appreciated!
