Rack Cards: Rack Cards with TLBA and other town events on one side and Carol Theatre performances on the other have been ordered. These will fit in the bill folders used at restaurants, and rack card holders were also purchased for businesses to put by their cash registers. Carol Theater: Praise & Glory concert is Sunday April 19th with the next one (Comedy Show) being a benefit for the North Warren School Performing Arts Club on May 9th. Thanks to all who showed up to clean up the theatre beforehand – we need someone with a sand blaster to polish up some of the brass so if you can help with this let us know! Rustic Charm will be a great neighbor, being open on performance nights with coffee, etc. Committee still needs volunteers to help with ticket sales, ushering, concession sales, etc. the night of each performance so if you can help for one performance or for many, call Al at #494-5318.
OP Fredericks is now under new management and owner George Stannard informed us that the menu will remain relatively the same for now with additional nightly specials & gluten free items. Hours are Tuesday – Sunday 4PM – 10PM, and they are considering opening for lunch during the summer season.
The Wells House is in the process of being purchased by John MacMillen & his brother and we’ll keep you posted as to opening day and specials! Congrats to these new business owners!
Farmers Market: Opening day will be June 17 at 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Woof Stock: June 20-21. We still have room for vendors so anyone interested contact Cindy at [email protected]. Volunteers will be needed to cover the information booth, sell water, etc … we need volunteers to wear our “Chester” costume but the best way the community can help right now is to get the word out!
Pug Parade Replacement Event: NW Chamber has 2 main options for a fall event: “A Bicycle Fest” and/or a “Fishing-Hunting-Survival Skill Festival”. The guys at The Hub and The Cross Roads are both involved with developing these great ideas – more info to follow as plans progress!
