Chestertown Farmers Market: Opens Wednesday June 15th and will run every Wednesday through Sept. 14th from 10AM – 2PM. Lots of new vendors and most of our old ones plus great music every day so stop by!
An Adirondack Woof Stock: June 18-19 in Chestertown. Weather is going to be perfect and we’re expecting great crowds! Dress like it’s 1969 throughout the weekend so our visitors feel they’ve dropped back in time!
Saturday 9-5, Sunday 10-4….. it’ll be the best day of your dogs life!
Start off the weekend on the right paw Friday night: Paws in Pubs: 5PM-6PM OP Fredericks / 6PM-7PM The Bull House / 7PM-8PM The Odd Duck / 8PM-9PM Panther Mt. Pub – drink special if you or your dog come dressed in Tie-Dye or 1969 garb. Saturday night: Woodstock Revisited on the Mill Pond in Brant Lake 6PM-11PM with outdoor vendors, live bands, light show, glow in the dark beach balls, and food at The Hub with the Tin TeePee also serving food!

Car Hop: June 17th at the Hub – Car Hops are held the 1st Friday of the month at the Panther Mt. Inn and the 3rd Friday of the month at The Hub beginning around 5 PM. Trophy sponsors are still needed – $40 to have your business donate the trophies for each event.
Carol Theatre: Anyone willing to drop off posters at local or not so local businesses get in touch with Al. Group voted to purchase a portable spotlight for the theatre (so we don’t have to continue to hold up flashlights during performance!)
North Warren School Scholarship: Committee has chosen this year’s $500 Scholarship that is donated by the TLBA each year for community service.
Suzie Q’s donated to the YMCA: Kudos to the Himoff family for donating the former Suzie Q”s restaurant to the YMCA. They will be offering the “No More Learning Gap” summer program for North Warren first and second-graders to improve their reading level and provide other activities for the children in our community.
North Warren School Backpack Program: Joann & John Nick have donated $500 to this program which will also provide lunches and food to students in need over weekends and long holiday breaks. The Chestertown Rotary, ESLA and the TLBA have also donated $500 each. There are about 535 students in our school and about 230 qualify for free or reduced lunches. About 30 of these students may not get any other meals other than what they receive through the school and more is needed to help these children out during the summer months. Anyone wishing to donate should contact Bernie McCann at the school.
The Art in Chestertown: Summer Creations! June 10th – July 23rd. Check out this great studio on 6 Pine St. in Chestertown if you haven’t all ready done so to see phenomenal works by local artists. Summer Hours are

Abe Studler made the US Ski Team: +/- 1000 mogul skiers in the country an only 11 made the team so this is a great accomplishment for Abe and a huge honor for our community. He is responsible for providing 365 days of his own lodging, food, etc and will be training in Switzerland, British Columbia, Australia and more so your support in his fund raisers will be appreciated! There will be a Bike Ride Fund Raiser at the Hub on July 16th and Pete Hornbeck has donated a Hornbeck canoe to raffle off – $10 tickets include paddle, life vest and the whole nine yards so help support this local athlete and buy a ticket! Tickets will be available at Woof Stock and periodically at the Farmer’s Market this year as well as area businesses.
