Taste of the Tri-Lakes and Rotary Memory Tree lighting: November 29, 2016. All restaurants who plan on participating please let us know! Request to the Rotary to split newspaper advertising with the TLBA.
It was discussed that we should try to work more with the Historical Societies, children’s groups and the school to get more participation on the events we organize. (i.e. – have the Historical Society do a presentation on Prohibition in our area during Rum Runners Weekend). Representatives and/or volunteers from these groups would be very helpful in this happen.
Alon Abare at the Tin TeePee had a very bad accident and the Horicon Library is organizing meals to bring to the family – anyone able to donate a meal for 4 please call or text Melissa at #380-3956 or call the Library. Donations can also be made to at Glens falls National in Chestertown or checks can be mailed to 6656 State Rt. 8 Brant Lake NY 12815. Please continue to keep their family in your thoughts and prayers. Alon has a long recovery and your support has been so appreciated by their family.
