Woofstock- June 8 & 9
➢ All set to go- dock diving, doggie fun zone, raffles, music, vendors
➢ Not Soliciting for T-shirts- still have 2,000 t-shirts left over
➢ Volunteers are needed- Entrance, Raffle, and T-shirt booth (2hr shifts)
➢ New this year- Reunion for the adopted dogs, fenced in area for dogs to run around and play, kissing booth with your dog, Dog wash run by freshman class, Scout troop to do tie dye
➢ Woofstock revisited – The Hub- Band, Light Show, Boat Rides on the Mill Pond
PTO- 5K Race the Cougar- June 2 @ 7:00AM North Warren School
Carol Theatre-
➢ Nice brochure was done- 3 ERRORS
➢ Corrections- Memories of Patsy Cline-SATRUDAY August 3
➢ Beatles- After the Band – SATURDAY August 17 The Tumblin Dice- SATURDAY August 30
➢ Clean the Theatre on May 18th at 10AM
➢ Day for the Rotary at The Oldies Show- July 20th
➢ May 31st- School Performance benefit for the Music Program
Farmer’s Market– starting June 12th
➢ Ready to go- Great vendors are on board for this year! Pizza, BBQ, Vegan Foods
➢ There is no legal connection between the Farmers Market and Tri-Lakes!
Name Change Committee– met on April 15th and spent 2.5 hours discussing 501C and mission statement and a new name
➢ Could not come to an unanimous decision on name
○ Adirondack Northway Community Alliance
○ Southern Adirondack Community Alliance
○ North Warren Community Alliance
***A vote was conducted to choose a name
Winner- Tri-lake Community Alliance
➢ If we change the “tri-lakes” part of the name we may lose our identity but rebranding may cause confusion at first and then catch on.
YMCA Update
➢ Wellness Center- Wednesday May 8th is the ribbon cutting ceremony
➢ Looking to start fitness classes within the next couple months and Counseling services will start at the end of the month
➢ YMCA will have a booth at the farmers market to encourage the Wellness Center
➢ Sign-up for the meal site- serves homemade meal everyday by dietitian. Everyday @ 11:30 all by donation through office of the aging
Rotary-participated with the heating and A/C in the wellness center
Chamber update-
➢ The VIP/ Business of the year dinner is May 16 at Jimbo’s! John Nick- VIP, Stephenson Lumber- Business of the Year. SummerFest is quickly approaching, July 6! Check out the new Chamber ad in the Adirondack Life Summer Guide.
Scholarship Fund-
➢ Make motion to give scholarship to school and leave it up to the school to choose a winner. Cindy makes motion to accept $500 scholarship to school, Tammie seconds the motion all in favor motion carries.
Adirondack Mountain Club
➢ IDIDA ride- 75 mile tour, local event- Saturday, July 27. Mile marker sponsor signs for your business!
➢ They get riders from all over the Country and it is a great opportunity to showcase our area
Car Hops– First and third Friday of every month1

July 5 & 19- Open to anyone
August 2 & 16- Open to anyone
➢ HOST A CAR HOP! It brings cars to your business. There will be a 50/50. Gives all the local businesses the opportunity to host a car hop!
