General Board Meeting Minutes: May 29, 2015
ATV Ride: May 30th starting at the Tin TeePee at 10 AM followed by cookout at 5. Donations for door prizes for both events that day are needed so let us know if you can help! VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED for just a few hours to help with this….. We continually get compliments on all the TLBA does for the community but we need more people to help out with some of our events – PLEASE try to donate a few hours of your time if you can, even if you can’t make the actual meetings….
Craft Brew Fest: May 30th at the Hub in Brant Lake. 5 PM – 8 PM – $25 admission to benefit new Electric Sign. Saratoga Brewery coming plus others. Again, just a few people are needed to take payments at the door….
Mission Statement of the TLBA was read to make sure we are following our stated mission – “To improve the quality of life and promote economic prosperity in Northern Warren County through enhanced infrastructure, expanded tourism, and beautification of our economic centers”.
Carol Theater: Thank you letter received from North Country Ministries for the Coming Together Concert we held with all profits donated to the Ministries. Huge THANK YOU to Al & Ellie Tolomeo and all the volunteerswho made this happen! Next performance is WOOD STOCK REVISTED – Chestertown’s version of Janis Joplin, Arlo Gutherie, Creedence Clearwater Revival and MORE!
Electric Sign: Town has given their approval and we will now present to the Adirondack Park Agency.
This informational sign will be for both Horicon & Chester events being held by all community groups
Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, The Rotary, The Priory, Northern Warren Snowmobile Club, Town Festivals, Fire Departments, Chamber of Commerce, TLBA, etc. There will be no business advertising and monies are still needed to actually make the sign. Any non-profits or groups who will benefit from this sign please consider making a donation – checks can be mailed to the North Warren Chamber of Commerce.
Car Hop: Next Car Hop is scheduled for June 12th at 5PM – help get the word out as these are a lot of fun for a few hours out on a Friday night – rain date is always the following Friday. Read more →
