Chestertown Farmer’s Market: Over 1,200 people came through the gate last week – this is the market’s 5th year and is going strong! Open every Wednesday from 10AM – 2PM!

Car Hops: Unfortunately the weather hasn’t been cooperating but the Car Hops are held every 1st Friday of the month at the Panther Mt. Inn and every 3rdFriday at The Hub. A fun night for car lovers and families so check it out!

The Carol Theatre: the Beatles had a full house and there are many upcoming performances this summer! LIKE “The Carol Theatre” on Face Book to keep up with events! This Thursday enjoy Al & Kathy Bain – “Country Music as it Should Be”(7PM) and Saturday July 29th there will be the Not Too Far From Home Comedy Show (7:30PM) to benefit the Chestertown Fire Department. All proceeds will benefit the Fire Company so your support would be greatly appreciated! Tickets available beforehand at Main St. Ice Cream Parlor, Panther Mountain Inn, Rustic Charm , Chestertown Farmers Market – Wednesdays 10 AM to 2 PM

Summerfest: Went very well – Great turnout!

NW Chamber of Commerce: Kudos to Debra Eves who has been working on the chambers social media sites, added a new business of the week highlight, and gotten more businesses to join! Good job Deb!

Thank you note was received from Mellissa Jay, recipient of the TLBA’s North Warren School Scholarship this year.

Discussion was held on putting lights on the dam at Loon Lake and on the upper dam on the Mill Pond in Brant.

Weekend at Bernies: July 28, 29,30 at EZ Marine. Free set up for any local businesses who want to put up a booth or information table. They are also looking for a dock space or mooring on Brant Lake for “Tiki Tours” – a local business that is currently set up on Lake George –  https://www.facebook.com/thetikitours  . Would be a great attraction and help tourism in our area – if you might be able to rent out a space to this company, give EZ Marine a call and they’ll give you the contact numbers. (They would just be parking the boat at your spot, only the Captain would be using your ‘parking lot’ and the boat would pick up guests at the boat launch or another predetermine place on the lake). EZ Marine has also purchased a large, expandable tent for this event which is available for rent for private weddings, parties, etc.
