Brant Lake Winter Carnival:
- Attendance was a record ~700 people
- Places to stay were sold out that weekend
- 50/50 was a HUGE success (announcing the total every hour helped tremendously)
- The reports back to the town are being worked on.
- Things to think about for next year
- Put vintage sleds on the Ice/Snow
- Bigger sign at the entrance (got buried by the snow)
- Big sign for the schedule of events so people know what is going on at what times
- Buttons were not a huge sell- switch up the design for next year?
- Brant Lake Winter Carnival Date for next year – Saturday, February 15
YMCA Update:
- Received Grant for the “Wellness Center”
- Great asset for the community
- Brant Lake YMCA ADK Center re-opening Tuesday, March 12
Chamber update:
- Job Fair is coming up Friday, March 29
- Two sessions scheduled: 1:30PM-2:40PM for students 9-12th grades and 6-7:30 PM open to the Public. @ North Warren School Gymnasium
- There will be on site interviews and resume writing workshops.

- Krazy Downhill Derby – Great turnout and weather!
- Krazy Downhill Derby Date for next year – Saturday, February 22
Drew – Marketing Committee for the chamber
- Working on how to draw people to our area
- Struggling with a name and what this area stands for
- We have the outdoor activities, the restaurants, places to stay and it’s affordable.
- Working with North Country Distribution – distributing the North Warren Map
- Web Cams- allows for more content and people to see what is going on in the area
- Dynamite Hill
- Waterfall/Dams/Boat Launches
Drew-May 18-19 – Ride on! – Biking event/ also launching mountain bike magazine
- Magazine will have guide to trails
- 10,000 copies will be printed
- Editorial content as well as full/half page advertisements
Name Change committee was unable to meet but will meet after this and will report back at the next TLBA meeting.
Lighting on the Dams
- Will cover/pay for all the materials
- Town can set up an electrician
St. Patrick’s Day Parade
- This year’s Grand Marshall will be Jim & Sue Himoff
- Looking to get a convertible (depending on weather)
- Parade is set to take off at 2PM
- Participants should be there at 1PM to line up around Foster Flat
- There will be someone directing!
- Many organizations are participating and it will be a great event!
Woofstock
- Moved to June 8 & 9
- Submitted to the Town of Horicon
- Woofstock revisited on the Pond funded minus the fireworks
- 2 Bands set to play!

- Agreed on 10,000 copies at $550
- Split the cost with the Chamber
Music for the Soul by The Hudson River Chorale @ St. Jogues Church on Sunday, March 24 at 3PM. Benefit- free will donation!
Hudson Headwater 5k Race-Sunday July 28 @ 9AM
